Red Dog Design, one of Ireland’s top branding and design agencies, is looking for a Business Development Administrator (BDA) to join the team on a part time basis (3 full days/5 half days per week).

This role reports directly to our Managing Director and as BDA you will play an integral role in business development working closely with our Managing Director in our Dublin Studio. As the BDA you will support all aspects of the business development lifecycle from initiating contact with potential clients, proposal/tender development right through to the presentation of Red Dog credentials to prospective clients. These responsibilities include a significant amount of coordination, collaboration, and timeline management in a dynamic team environment.

The business development function also requires you to ensure that our own marketing materials, e.g. website, case studies, e-shots etc are up to date. We take great pride in our reputation as an agency that cares greatly for our clients and their business objectives.

You will be mostly based in the studio but will be required to attend meetings/events outside of the studio as your role requires.

This position requires a high degree of organisation with the ability to engage with potential clients and colleagues across the board.

In your role you will act as coordinator on specific business opportunities, supporting the Managing Director to:

  • Compile and/or conduct assessment data or desk research, collect preliminary documentation and other pre-proposal preparatory activities
  • Prepare proposal calendars and help monitor progress in meeting deadlines
  • Serve as point of contact for subcontractors and staff who are contributing to business development proposals and tenders
  • responding to potential clients who get in touch by phone or email and completing the initial round of exploration with them
  • Support writing of proposal sections, including staffing, past performance, and other supporting documentation; perform quality-control editing and proofreading
  • Help maintain business development content library so that documentation and learnings are captured for future use
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge of the brand/design industry an advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of editing and publication software Adobe InDesign & Keynote presentation software.

Well organised and analytical with the ability to multitask.

Fluent English with excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.

Client facing, presentable and professional in appearance and manner.

Time efficient and prompt at responding to clients and colleagues.
